From photo to featured

I photographed Emily from Hatfield Design and Co and when she was featured in Designlines Magazine, a few of our images were chosen for the article.

The process of this brand portrait and showroom photoshoot included these steps:

1. Pre-production: Before the photoshoot, a shoot brief is created to include what shots we need, props, styling, angles, etc. An inspiration board provides examples that we can refer back to.

2. Set up: On the day of the shoot, we set up the scenes based on our shoot brief.

3. Lighting: Lighting is a key part of every shoot. It creates the mood and look we want.

4. Capturing our shots: Now, it’s your time to shine. Don’t overthink it. Let your personality come through.

Design showroom: HD+CO

HD+CO is a home decor company based in Toronto, Canada, specializing in handwoven rugs for the everyday. Their collection is made in India from 100% recycled PET yarn, low pile, and designed for high-traffic areas of the home.

Princess Margaret Lotto Home: LIXIL

This beautiful kitchen in the spring 2025 Princess Margaret Lotto Home was designed by Brian Gluckstein and was fitted with Grohe faucets and taps. The overall style of the home is minimalist and contemporary, with a neutral, cream, and olive green colour palette.

A few other details:

• Fluted, olive green island: Caesarstone’s 5132 Celestrial Sky Quartz

Two-toned kitchen (Creative Design Therapy)

Creative Design Therapy renovated this home from top to bottom and the kitchen was a big part of the project. The kitchen was ready for an update and it got one. Everything was modernized from top to bottom. A wall was removed to connect the dining room to the kitchen and a large waterfall island was added for additional countertop space and seating. New lighting and appliances were installed to finish off the project.

Family room: Built-in shelves

Interior designer Studio ALC designed this family room to be a space to gather, chat, watch TV, and just hang out.

The built-in shelves provide storage and act as a display case. A feature of the built-ins is the under cabinet lighting, creating a soft glow.
