Food: Chocolates

I love chocolate (just about any kind will do) but it's always a special treat to try handmade chocolate. Chocolates x Brandon Olsen (CXBO) is a little shop in Toronto that makes cute morsels of art. They're so beautiful I almost can't bring myself to eat them. Almost.

Lifestyle: Reform Merchant Flatware

I styled and photographed these beautiful flatware sets from Australian-based Reform Merchant and I think it was one of my favourite shoots. It was minimalist, clean and simple which is exactly what I love to photograph.

Each set includes with 4 pieces (spoon, mini spoon, fork and knife) and they come in gold, black and rose gold. They're sturdy and weighted so they won't bend when you're using them.

Solid 18/10 stainless steel with a beautiful brushed finish

Lifestyle: JR Authentics

Working with baby and puppy models is really more like a workout. There's lots of jumping and moving around and by the end, I've worked up a sweat. But it's worth it. Every moment is significant because when it comes to kids, those moments goes by fast and you can't get those precious early years back.

My creative friends over at JR Authentics started an organic baby clothing company where their newest designs feature cute handlettering by our talented friend, Doris of Love Lettering

This super cute little guy volunteered (ok, his photographer aunt did) to model this latest collection and I'd say he did pretty well for his first modelling gig :)

Lifestyle: Different types of the same species

It always amazes me that there are so many types of flowers. There are different shapes, sizes, colours, scents and lifespans but those characteristics come together to form a unique arrangement. Types of flowers that one wouldn't think to place next to another actually look better because of their distinct traits. Yet in the end, they're all still flowers.

This colourfully rich and bold arrangement was put together by my friend, Jenn, over at Wild North Flowers, whose work is always top notch. She even teaches workshops on how to make these yourself which I shared recently.

These can also be used for wedding bouquets or centerpieces for brides who want a colourful and unique arrangement.
