Published: The Kwendy Home in Apartment Therapy
I was introduced to Wendy of The Kwendy Home by a mutual friend and had the opportunity to photograph her home for a feature in Apartment Therapy. This was a huge milestone for both of us as we were fans of Apartment Therapy, a big online publication in the interior and home space.

Partnership: This Wild Heart x JJ Cole
Working with Esther of This Wild Heart has been such a joy because I’ve gotten to know her as a friend along the way. I recently photographed her partnership with JJ Cole as she and her family explored different neighbourhoods in Toronto, from the west to the east end. She’s put together a guide on Where to Visit in Toronto with Little Ones with indoor and outdoor places to play and explore, as well a list of family-friendly restaurants.
Here are a few highlights:
They started at Brodflour, a bakery in Liberty Village who bakes fresh sourdough in-house.
Next, a visit to Riverdale Farm, a farm in the city, to see the animals
Last stop, the famous rainbow mural tunnel in the Don Valley.

Interior: The Kwendy Home
When you walk into The Kwendy Home, you’ll notice that it has so much personality because every detail was handpicked. The duo behind Kwendy intentionally designed their house to be a place that welcomes and brings people together.
I was introduced to them by a mutual friend and had the opportunity to photograph their home, which is now featured in Apartment Therapy.
Take a look at how beautiful the layout and decor is. For design tips and inspiration, check out her Instagram.
This is the beautiful foyer that welcomes you.
The kitchen is purposely open and spacious to be a welcoming spot for large groups.
There is a lot of natural light from the windows and the light interior keeps it bright throughout the day.
Wendy is one half of “Kwendy” and she loves plants and all things vintage and thrifting which shows throughout their home.
The original sunroom provides all the light that her plants need.
One of the rooms has been turned into Wendy’s woman cave.
